Adult Care Courses (Health,Social,Childcare Qualifications)

Vocational Learning offers a range of RQF adult care qualifications that have been developed by skills for care. These social care courses are recognised by CQC and emplyers. Most of our courses are delivered by fast track, distance and blended learning. We also deliver childcare courses such as the children and young people workforce qualifications. These qualifications are recognised by Ofsted and regulated.


Our Child Adult Social Care Courses

Our adult and social care courses are aimed at both the front line and management. It is important as a practitioner for you to embrace the care value base and ensure you work within both internal and external requirements.

Vocational Learning delivers a range of childcare and early years courses by distance and blended learning. These qualifications are recognised by Ofsted. Our courses are delivered by an experienced team who are committed to getting you qualified as soon as possible. Courses which require demonstration of practice in the work place will require observations.

1] Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF)

This course is suitable for candidates working in a wide range of roles in a health and social care setting. This is a competence based qualification which requires learners to be in paid or voluntary work. The qualification also forms the competence component of the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care.

2] Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF)

This course is designed for candidates who are senior and have a number of responsibilities in a care setting. The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in areas such as person-centred care, information governance and duty of care.

3] Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF)

Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care is for care workers who want to develop specialist skills and knowledge in their area of responsibility which enables them to lead in areas such as assessment or enablement, for instance. Candidates will have responsibility for assessing performance and quality of care delivery.

4] Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce (RQF)

This course is aimed at people already working in a health or social care setting with children and young people who want to develop and demonstrate their skills in a senior role.

In registered settings other than childminding, all supervisors and managers must at least hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification as defined by the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC).

5] Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF)

The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care replaces the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services. The course supercedes the predecessor care qualifications ( Level 4 NVQ Leadership and Management in Care Services and Level 4 NVQ Health and Social Care).
